Qahwa, also referred to as kahwa or Arabic coffee, is a traditional method of preparing coffee in the Middle East. This famous Arabic coffee is a highlight of Food in Sharjah and is specially prepared with lightly roasted beans, saffron, and cardamom, creating a unique drink with an unforgettable taste. It is traditionally poured into small handled or handless cups and sometimes served with dates.
Qahwa is mostly served during special occasions, including iftar ( after breaking the fast) during Ramadan, welcoming guests, gatherings, and many other events. “Arabian Tea House”, located at Al Merijah in Sharjah, is the best place to drink the traditional Qahwa.
