Stuffed Camel is a well-known Bedouin dish consisting of a massive camel that is stuffed with rice, boiled eggs, and meat items such as chicken, lamb, or fish. First of all, the raw camel is cleaned, the skin is removed, then filled with the ingredients as discussed before, and then the whole stuffed chicken and lamb is placed inside the camel. At the end, this fully-stuffed camel is cooked over coals.
Stuffed Camel is widely popular among the Arab and Emirati Sheikhs. Camels represent the cultural heritage, symbolizing their hospitality. This famous food is mostly served during major gatherings, weddings, and special occasions in Dubai and other regions of the Middle East. “Zaman Awal Restaurant” located in Al Boom Tourist Village, Dubai, is the best place to have stuffed camel.
