Louvre is the Arab world’s first universal museum, opened in 2017 on Saadiyat Island. This museum features iconic architecture, including a large dome known for its “rain of light,” and collection of various attractive masterpieces in Abu Dhabi, such as Stoclet Dragon scripture, Monument of Victor Hugo artwork, and many others.
Louvre also features a children’s museum, an auditorium, restaurants, and spaces for cultural programming such as workshops, talks, and concerts. This makes the museum an active cultural hub. The entry fee for this museum ranges from AED 30 to 65, and is free for those under 18 years old.
