Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (PJSC), widely known as TAQA, is a government-controlled energy holding company established in 2005 in Abu Dhabi. This government company offers a diverse portfolio of services, including power and water generation, transmission and distribution, oil and gas operations, and sustainable water solutions.
TAQA has completed significant projects in Abu Dhabi, including the first-ever high-voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea transmission network in the MENA region, a $2.2 billion sustainable water supply project for ADNOC’s onshore fields, and involvement in the inauguration of the world’s largest single-site solar power plant.
