When you’re at The Springs, hit up these best places to see for a ton of fun and a great time.
The Springs is located around the modern Emaar Malls’ two-level shopping hub, The Springs Souk. There are over 70 retail outlets, a Carrefour Market, Reel Cinemas, beauty salons, a clinic, a pharmacy and a laundromat in the Souk. There’s also an indoor play area on the upper level, called Dig It, which is popular among families. Throughout the year, The Souk has seasonal events and community markets.
The Springs’ most prominent feature is its community lakes. All of the sub-communities have stone paving for walking paths, benches, and abundant greenery. They are also surrounded by a landscaped lake. After dark, residents stroll along the pathways, enjoying a walk and a jog or just a stroll. These are complemented by ducks, swans and small fish, which help to give it a more relaxed, suburban atmosphere.
The Emirates Golf Club is a very close drive from The Springs and is one of the most renowned Golf destinations in the UAE. Established in 1988, it was the first all-grass Middle Eastern course. It has two championship courses, the Majlis Course and the Faldo Course, welcoming the annual Dubai Desert Classic on the European Tour.
There is also Emirates Hills’ own Montgomerie Golf Club, which is also world-class. This 18-hole championship course was created by the Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie. It features a rugged course design, hilly greens and beautiful gardens and lakes.
The Springs is adjacent to a smaller community centre called Meadows Town Centre. It has a Spinneys supermarket, a pet shop, salons, opticians, and a pharmacy. Moreover, various cafes are a staple in the Emirates Living community.
The Parks and Walking Trails make their way through all of The Springs. Kids’ play areas, BBQ stations, outdoor fitness and basketball courts are all part of each sub-community. Stay active and social year-round with shared swimming pools, tennis courts and three dog parks.
