Flight Fare Drop for Eid Al Adha Travel in UAE: Save Up to 50%

Flight Fare Drop for Eid Al Adha Travel in UAE Save Up to 50%

With Eid Al Adha holiday starting this week, many UAE residents are trying to find the best time to book their flights. Ticket prices are going up and down a lot depending on the travel date, and choosing the right day to fly can save you hundreds of dirhams.

Big Price Differences by Date

A review of one-way flight prices on May 21 showed that fares on the same route can be very different depending on when you leave. On the Dubai to Islamabad route, tickets for May 25 were priced between Dh1,684 and Dh1,882. But for May 29, some fares dropped to as low as Dh669. That is nearly a 50% difference just by shifting your travel date by a few days.

Lahore flights also showed a similar pattern. Flights on May 26 were above Dh1,000, while tickets for May 28 and May 29 were available between Dh688 and Dh723. Istanbul fares for May 25 were above Dh2,100 on some airlines, but May 28 and May 29 options were available from around Dh1,400. Cairo routes also showed lower prices later in the week, with some May 29 fares available from Dh816.

Not all routes got cheaper though. Kochi flights stayed expensive across most dates, showing very high demand from residents travelling home for Eid. If you are staying in the UAE and looking for fun things to do, there are plenty of great Shopping Malls In Dubai to enjoy the long holiday weekend.

What Travel Experts Are Saying

According to Binsiya Ferbin, director at Wings and Wonders Tourism, UAE residents are booking earlier this year compared to previous Eid seasons. She said popular destinations include Thailand, Vietnam, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Lebanon.

She also mentioned that airlines may add extra seats on busy routes closer to Eid, which could bring some limited price drops. But she warned that cheaper ticket categories sell out quickly, so waiting too long could mean paying more.

Jaffer Manu, MD of Bonvo Tourism, said many residents are being more careful with spending this Eid. He added that budget-friendly spots like Salalah are getting more attention alongside popular choices like Georgia, Armenia and Uzbekistan. Tips for Smart Eid Travel

Skyscanner data showed that outbound travel searches from the UAE jumped by 51% on May 26 compared to the week before. Travellers are becoming more flexible with dates, routes and stopovers to get better value during the busy Eid period.

If you have a flexible schedule, shifting your departure by even two or three days can make a big difference in price. For those who prefer staying close to home, the UAE itself has a lot to offer during the long break — from the waterfront views of Dubai Marina to world-class attractions across the country.
